9 Natural Ways to Protect Dry Chapped Lips

Dry, Chapped & Sore Lips can be prevented with by using just a couple of our 9 Natural Beauty Tips. You can use any one of these eco beauty tips to get lovely lips all year long.

1. BEFORE YOU CLEANSE

Apply a natural lip balm to your lips before you cleanse your face. Why? Your Face Cleanser can change the PH balance of your lips causing chapping.

2. CUCCUMBER

For lips that are already chapped & sore slice up a cucumber & place it on your lips for 5 minutes. The cucumber helps to rehydrate your lips & feels fabulous.


If the sliced cucumber does not work & you feel you need a more powerful boost, try squeezing the juice out of the cucumber & applying like a paste. 

3. DON'T LICK

As soon as we get dry lips we lick them but did you know this is the worst thing you can do. When we lick our lips we actually cause them to dry & chap. 

4. AVOID THE CHAP

7. DRINK WATER
Yes it is cold outside, all you want is hot chocolate with marshmallows but you still need to hydrate.

When you drink cells in the skin rehydrate, making them nice & plump.

Avoid nasty lip balms. These are the lips balms that contain petroleum products. These sort of balms coat your lips so they feel hydrated but really what they do is block the lips from absorbing any hydrating ingredients you apply.

9. WEAR TO BED
