Pre-Orders - Dispatch Time
From time to time The Kind Store has items listed as Pre-Orders. The dispatch time for these orders varies from 1 week to 6 weeks. Once you place the order we will keep you updated the entire time with estimated arrival time.
Out of Stock Items
The Kind Store sells over many different platforms, both online and in store. Sometimes we sell out of products before the kindstore.com.au can be updated. If we are are out of stock of an item, we will let you know. If you have multiple items in your order we will dispatch what we have in stock + ship the out of stock items when they arrive. We will let you know an ETA.
Sometimes items are discontinued, therefore we are not getting them back in. In this instance we will issue a refund, this will occur using the payment gateway you selected.
If you have used a discount code or a gift certificate our system will automatically refund you the amount you paid. When you use a discount code or gift certificate our system discounts each product in your cart not just the final amount. If you have any concerns please get in contact with us via our Contact Us Page.
International Shipping - Yes We Do!
The Kind Store ships Internationally. The postage cost will be calculated when you check out.
Please note that all import duties, taxes and charges are unable to be included in the item/s shipping and handling costs, these charges are the buyers responsibility.
Before purchasing please check with your local customs office in the destination country to check what these charges are before proceeding with your purchase. The Kind Store will not be liable for any additional charges.

The freight charges will populate on check out depending on the country that the parcel is being shipped.
You will need to sign for your parcel, we like you to have peace of mind that you will receive your parcel safely.
It is your responsibility to pay any import duty or sales tax within your own country.
International delivery timeframes are between 14 - 21 days.

AUSTRALIA WIDE - Shipping Policy
We ship using either Star Track Express Couriers or Australia Post. In some cases parcels are trackable & may require your signature.
We do ship internationally. Please keep reading to see if we ship to your country.
1. Parcels are shipped in Australia using Star Track Express Couriers or Australia Post for delivery within Australia.
2. Parcels are shipped using Registered International Post or Air Mail for international deliveries. Shipping & handling rates depend on the destination country, rates will be calculated during the check out process.
3.The customer may be required to sign for the parcel.
4.You can follow the order status by using the tracking ID sent to you.
5. We aim to have all items delivered to Australian addresses in 10 days. In instances that a product is out of stock we will inform you of the wait period for delivery. If we are unable to get the product back in stock, you will be offered a refund for the product that is out of stock or a store credit.
6. You will receive notification once the order has been sent.
7. If your order has already been shipped you will not be able to change or cancel your order.
Your order is delivered via Star Track Express or Australia Post. Please note that if you live in the Northern Territory or use a PO Box as your address your order will be sent via Australia Post express post to ensure prompt delivery.
You may need to sign for your parcel.
You can track your order through the tracking ID that you are sent. If your order has not arrived within 10 business days you can check the status of your order using the tracking ID. If you still have concerns please contact us.
RETURNS & EXCHANGES
KIND will happily exchange or issue a credit note for all returns under our returns policy.
Need to return an item? It is easy to do, simply read the Return Terms, check your return fits within the criteria [at the end of the return terms we will tell you what to do next!]
1 Returns must be returned within 30 days from date of purchase.
2 Returns must be unworn/unused, in the original packaging including tags. Once the merchandise is confirmed to be in its original condition a credit note or exchange will be issued.
3 Returns must be in the same box you received your item in, we are unable to accept returns without the original boxes.
4 In instances where you have changed your mind or would like to exchange for a different item, size or colour, in order to issue an exchange or store credit, original packaging is required. If you don’t have the original packaging, unfortunately in these circumstances, we can’t issue a credit note or exchange. If the item is faulty but you no longer have the original packaging, proof of purchase is required in the form of a No Love form, to receive a store credit or exchange.
5 Shoes must be returned with all original packaging including undamaged boxes. We are unable to accept shoes that have scratches or dirty soles.
6 Returns must include the Return form & receipt
7 On receipt of the merchandise, credit notes or exchanges will be processed and a confirmation email sent. Credit notes or exchanges will be processed within 7 days of receipt using the same transaction method used to make original purchase.
8 Customers are responsible for for delivering returned products securely to KIND.
9 Customers are responsible for the payment of return post of merchandise
10 In the rare circumstance that your merchandise has a defect please send it back to us with the KIND form filled and we will send you a replacement item. In case that we don’t have a replacement item, we will give you the option of a store credit or a refund. A refund will only be issued if the item has an agreed upon defect.
11 If you need to exchange for another size and the size is out of stock we will issue a store credit.
1 To prevent damage in the returns process, please be sure to package the merchandise well as damaged merchandise will not be accepted. If you use the packaging KIND sent the merchandise in, your returns should arrive undamaged. Please contact us if you have questions on how best to package your returns.
2 When trying on your new shoes for the first time, wear them on carpet or soft surface. This will prevent the soles of the shoes from getting scuff marks.
3 If the item arrives and you have no love for it, do not remove the original packaging.
Not returnable Merchandise
Please choose carefully when choosing the following types of merchandise as credit notes & exchanges will not be provided unless the product is faulty, not doing what they’re supposed to do, significantly different to those shown or described to you.

We believe in Kindess to the Environment. We believe that no forest should be destroyed to grow Palm Oil. Every product we showcase is either Palm Oil Free or Certified Sustainable Palm Oil.
Palm Oil is found in shampoo, ice cream, margarine, lipstick and many other products.
We will not showcase a product if the entire supply chain is not Cruelty Free.
We will not showcase a product if the parent company actively uses Palm Oil that is not Certified Sustainable Palm Oil.
